Six Sigma Life Cycle
Six Sigma projects follow a 5-phased life cycle commonly known as DMAIC (Define the problem, Measure where you stand, Analyze where the problem starts, Improve the situation, and Control the new process).
The purpose of this template is to outline the phases, key activities and deliverables of the standard Six Sigma life cycle. All activity durations are set at the default level of one day because the duration of activities will vary widely depending on a number of factors including the complexity of the business process to be improved and the level of effort commitment from the team (many Six Sigma efforts are not full-time responsibilities).
